Basil Pesto & Burrata Pizza With Rocket

Bright and fresh, this Basil Pesto Burrata Pizza combines aromatic basil pesto, creamy burrata, and peppery rocket celebrating classic flavours with simplicity and balance.

INGREDIENTS

1 loaf of pizza dough (see recipes)
Fresh basil pesto
1 ball burrata
Rocket leaves
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

METHOD

Preheat the oven to 350°C with a pizza stone or tray inside. Stretch or roll the pizza dough into a round on a lightly floured surface.

Spread the basil pesto evenly over the base, leaving a small border around the edges. Bake in the hot oven for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is crisp and lightly golden.

Remove the pizza from the oven and tear or scatter pieces of burrata over the top so it softens but does not fully melt. Scatter fresh rocket on top, drizzle with extra virgin olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

Serve immediately.
